Fractional information systems adviser to a sovereign client in crisis
National armed forces · MENA region · contract advisory
A national armed forces needed an independent information systems expert embedded at headquarters during a national emergency, with no time for a procurement cycle.
The challenge
The requirement came through the British Embassy during an active crisis. It was not advisory at arm's length. The task was hands-on deployment of a live intelligence and ISR capability, with supporting processes, training and strategic counsel to senior officers, delivered at speed with no standing infrastructure to build from.
What we did
How it was delivered.
-
01
Embedded from day one
No ramp-up, no onboarding programme. Stepped in as the resident information systems expert, working directly alongside senior leadership from the first week.
-
02
Deployed a full intelligence and ISR capability
Systems, processes and training delivered end to end. Practitioners trained, capability made operational and sustained under field conditions.
-
03
Strategic advisory throughout
Advised senior officers on intelligence strategy and the allocation of UK programme funds, combining hands-on technical delivery with the strategic counsel a fractional leader provides.
The outcome
A full intelligence and ISR capability deployed and made operational during a national emergency, with senior officers equipped to direct and sustain it independently.
Crisis-deployed
full intelligence and ISR capability stood up at pace
