AI: Strategy, Implementation & Security
Adopt AI where it pays — built, governed and secure.
Most organisations are being sold AI transformation by people who have never run it. We have. Enigma's own operations run on governed AI agents under human supervision — so when we help you adopt AI, we're describing our Tuesday, not a slide. We work out where AI actually earns its place, build the systems that deliver it, and secure them to a standard a regulator would recognise.
What we do
What this covers.
-
01
AI strategy & adoption
An honest read on where AI pays and where it does not; a governance-first roadmap; build-vs-buy and realistic ROI, not hype.
-
02
AI implementation
Internal copilots, assistants and agents; document, onboarding and workflow automation; built into the systems you already run.
-
03
AI security
Securing AI systems, data and access; threat-modelling AI-specific risks — prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, over-broad agency.
-
04
AI governance
A framework aligned to NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act and ISO 42001; policy, controls and audit trails proportionate to your risk.
-
05
Governed AI operations
Human-in-the-loop operating models, so AI does the work and people stay accountable.
How it typically starts
Usually one honest workshop — what you're trying to achieve, what AI can and can't do for it, and the governance you'll need — then a short build that proves value before you scale.
Credentials
Enigma runs its own business on governed AI agents under human supervision. Douglas Trainer has shipped AI-enabled platforms in regulated environments — including an onboarding application used by 80+ people that cut process time roughly ten-fold — built a sovereign cryptographic authority for the UAE Government, and spent 14 years in the Intelligence Corps. The governance framework we apply is in active development, codified against NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act and ISO 42001, and used daily on our own operations.
